I offer Fall and Winter Pottery classes from my studio located in Brooke about 15 minutes west of Perth.

Each course is designed to meet the individual needs of the student whether a beginner potter interested in creating your first pot or more experienced potter wanting to improve your throwing skills or hand building technique.

Workshops

Once again this summer, I will be offering a cone 10 gas firing workshop. You will need to bring 8-10 bisqued fired pots made from cone 10 clay. You will have the opportunity to learn about firing a gas kiln and explore traditional reduction glazes as well as a few more contemporary ones. I will also be teaching again this summer the popular week long pottery retreat from my studio Monday to Friday July 16 – 20, 10 am - 4 pm.

The studio is located in a quiet country setting close to nature where you can focus on throwing techniques, hand-building or work out a specific pottery issue during the five day hands on workshop. Cost is $325. Price includes a bag of clay and bisque fired work. A separate one day glaze workshop (cost $50) will be offered to glaze and fire your work.
